Insomnia is becoming a real problem. I suppose if I’m going to be up all night I might as well get some chores done. My thoughts are muddled and erratic. A coherent post isn’t in the cards tonight.
You know what else? Shangri-La Dee Da is the only STP album I don’t have or listen to. So, I never knew, but just found out there’s a song called Bi-Polar Bear on it. The quote I used references the pilot episode of The Tick. How’s that for a coincidence?

insomnia… I am so sick of not sleeping.. I don’t really have insomnia, I have lonliness. It’s so weird, that I just can’t get comfortable. There is no inuendo there, it’s simply the comfort of knowing someone is close by that I am missing, or something anyway. I wouldn’t recommend tv, that really sucks… is there nothing on these days?? But honestly… it’s not a comfort. So music, well, that just makes things so much worse. The only thing that’s sounds helpful, is a run, and it’s just not s good idea for a girl who lives downtown to go for a run at 1 in the morning. Bloody Hell!!! Hope you’re sleeping…. but if it’s one here… I think that means it’s 8 am there. Night shift? Hope so!! G’night.

Ha, I sit here and nod in agreement about your insomnia problem, and it’s 5:02 AM. What can I say? The night time is the right time.

I’m so sorry about the insomnia and general sense of malaise. Insomnia is something I relate with far too much. Have you tried Valerian root? You can buy it in capsule form at the local Walgreens’–do they have Walgreen’s in Canada?–or wherever. An all-natural sleep remedy. I depended on it a lot when I first quit drinking. It works and doesn’t give you that “hangover” (hangover–ha) feeling which sleeping pills do if you’re not able to get a full night’s rest.

try chamomile, sleepy-time-tea, or valerian root.. and cutting back on caffiene also helps!
