If I ever adopt a new cat, I’m naming him Toonces.

that old snl sketches theme song came into my head immediately when i saw the name “toonces”. it’s a good name. strangely good petnames often come to my head and i think “that’s what i should name my next…” but in reality i nevr end up naming them those names. i always have to become acquainted with them before giving them a name. sometimes this nameless limbo goes on for over a week. but they usually end up naming themselves better than i ever could.
Toonces was the coolest driving cat. I loved the introdcution sequence with the real cat just sitting there and then the fake paw sticking up from the bottom of the frame “steering” the car.

‘Tae Kwon Do Cat’ is still my favorite cat name, named that by the owners son…i’ve no clue where the inspiration comes from, except in the fact that this Kid is crazy…He’s gonna be a Rock Star!!!

i feel like a three ring circus at times with me being the main attraction… i shouldn’t be an attraction. i don’t know how to do tricks nor do i want to learn *stares at the old dog (bitch) in the mirror*

Naming my next cat Toonces would be ironic since the now deceased Mango was run over by a bad driver. His name was also SNL inspired.
